•  I was worried that my child's needs were not being met in a public grade school. In public school, my child would go weeks without learning anything new. I wanted him to have more than just an average education. At Strickland the kids start learning parts of speech, diagramming sentences in 1st grade and algebra in 6th grade. If you are looking for a school that will hold your child accountable for their work and give them a strong foundation in reading, writing, and arithmetic; plus is very affordable then consider Strickland as an option.

•  We have our other child at another very fine school here in Austin. However Strickland gets far more out of my little ones who attend here. It's truly a find! If you want your children to learn to read, write, and recite mathematics like a whiz-kid, Strickland is likely producing the most capable children with these skills in Austin.

•  As a former student, the decision to send my 4 year old to Strickland was a 'no-brainer'. They set a strong foundation and love for the Word of God; you could not ask for a better start for your precious child. My son has even begun to teach my three-year-old what he has learned! The teachers are loving and such a blessing! I couldn't ask for a better start for my children's future!

•  The teachers are wonderful and they truly care about the children. It is a fantastic Christian school and the price is just right! If your child is average, he may struggle. The kids that go here will be the future rocket scientists and neurosurgeons of the country.

•  I am an alumnus and had a great experience there. They allowed children to truly exceed without preconceived ideas regarding what young children are and are not capable of accomplishing.

•  This school is incredible! They provided an optimal environment for my 5 year old daughter to learn. She learned how to read this year in K-4, and more importantly was taught the Word of God. The teachers are so caring but yet keep order in the class. I highly recommend it!

•  The teachers are excellent! (submitted by a former student)

•  The parent involvement is very high at Strickland. We love the teachers, and the academics are very strong. We're so glad to have a Christian school.

•  The parental involvement is great! We love the teachers and the Christian atmosphere.

•  Strickland has a terrific academics program especially in the early years. Children in K4 through 2nd grade gain a great foundation for the rest of their school careers. My children were proficient at reading and arithmetic by the end of 1st grade! While the school does not offer much in extracurricular activities, it does provide a P.E. program, computer, and music as well as several creative outlets that teachers oversee. I like the fact that my children have received a solid academic foundation to build upon while growing in character. The teachers are very caring and helpful. I would highly recommend this school to parents seeking a challenging curriculum for their children.

•  Wonderful team of teachers who truly believe in the education of the children. Very strong Christian based beliefs. Children learn quickly beginning with pre-k.

•  Outstanding staff with excellent teaching skills. Respect for all and love of Christ are important to children and parents. Moral values are strong and discipline is a priority.

•  Tremendous Christian atmosphere, phonics program, and excellent math skills at a very early age which stays accelerated.
